Russian Healthcare Week has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds
EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds has opened its doors to Russian Healthcare Week 2024. This large-scale project brings together such major exhibitions as the 33rd International Exhibition for Medical Engineering Products and Consumables – Zdravookhraneniye 2024, the 17th International Exhibition for Rehabilitation and Preventive Treatment Facilities, Medical Aesthetics, Pharmaceuticals and Products for Healthy Lifestyle – Healthy Lifestyle 2024, the 9th PharmMedProm Exhibition and Conference, the 7th International Exhibition for Medical and Wellness Services, Health Improvement and Medical Treatment in Russia and Abroad – MedTravelExpo 2024. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts, and a rich medical business and science related conference programme.
Yury Kalinin, President at the Union of Associations and Enterprises of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries – Rosmedprom, moderated the opening ceremony. In his welcoming speech, Kalinin congratulated EXPOCENTRE, the organiser of Zdravookhraneniye, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Over half a century, the exhibition has gone from a medical trade show to a large-scale series of events. It was here that key ideas were born, strategic decisions were discussed, and the latest technologies were presented, which now serve the health of millions of people.
Sergey Katyrin, President at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that today the Week is Russia's largest medical event. There will be more than 70 important events involving professionals in healthcare, rehabilitation, and medical tourism – all spheres that contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
Oleg Salagai, State Secretary – Russian Deputy Minister of Health, read out a welcome message to the Week's participants from Mikhail Murashko, Russian Minister of Health. Ekaterina Preezzheva, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, read out a greeting from Anton Alikhanov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade.
Sergey Leonov, Chair at the Healthcare Committee of the Russian State Duma, welcomed the audience and invited them to participate in expert discussions that will be held during the Week to discuss the industry's current challenges.
Maxim Fateev, Director General at EXPOCENTRE AO, thanked all those who took an active part in organising and supporting Russian Healthcare Week. He said that many of today's distinguished academicians had visited Zdravookhraneniye as students and that the decision to devote themselves to medicine had been made at this event.
Russian Healthcare Week 2024 is open until December 6.
