Russian Healthcare Week 2024 to cover all aspects of the industry
Russian Healthcare Week 2024 will open at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, on December 2. It is Russia's largest series of events for the healthcare and medical industry, which covers virtually the entire industry: equipment manufacturing, science, and practical medicine.
This large-scale project brings together such major exhibitions as the 33rd International Exhibition for Medical Engineering Products and Consumables – Zdravookhraneniye 2024, the 17th International Exhibition for Rehabilitation and Preventive Treatment Facilities, Medical Aesthetics, Pharmaceuticals and Products for Healthy Lifestyle – Healthy Lifestyle 2024, the 9th PharmMedProm Exhibition and Conference, the 7th International Exhibition for Medical and Wellness Services, Health Improvement and Medical Treatment in Russia and Abroad – MedTravelExpo 2024. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts, and a rich medical business and science related conference programme.
More than 1,000 companies (including 763 Russian ones) from 16 countries will occupy about 20,000 square metres: Belarus, China, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Lebanon, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkiye, the UAE, and Uzbekistan. China and Hungary will have national pavilions.
The group stand of Russian regions will be arranged by the Altai Krai, the Republics of Bashkortostan and Chuvashia, the Pskov, Samara, Tyumen, Volgograd, and Voronezh Oblasts.
Zdravookhranenie celebrates its half-century anniversary this year. "Today it has transformed into a large-scale project called Russian Healthcare Week. Every December, doctors, scientists, business and government representatives gather at our venue to sum up the results of the year, present the latest developments, and outline future development directions," Maxim Fateev, EXPOCENTRE Director General, said in a recent interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The Week's conference programme includes more than 70 major industry events. According to Maxim Fateev, special attention will be paid to the development of medical rehabilitation and reproductive health issues.
"Working with young professionals is one of our priorities. This year, for the fourth time already, we will hold the Young Medicine scientific and educational project. It gives talented young scientists from all over Russia an opportunity to bring to life their most interesting developments mainly in the field of biomedicine, IT and rehabilitation medicine under the guidance of renowned scientists. Undergraduate and postgraduate students could not dream of cooperation with this people before. This year, leading Russian universities will organise the Conference for Students and Young Professionals: Open the World of Medical Technology. Career Prospects in Medical Engineering. It will be held for the first time in order to popularise engineering professions and train cross-functional specialists, who create new technologies in the field of medical equipment, provide its operation and maintenance.
